Ways to Pay
Getting the care you need shouldn’t depend on what you can pay. We accept BadgerCare/Medicaid, Medicare, and many other commercial insurance plans.
We also offer financial options for people who are uninsured or need help with healthcare costs. Our team can help you understand your coverage, explore assistance, and find a payment option that works for you. Call your clinic and ask for an appointment with a community health worker to get started.
NorthLakes offers a sliding fee based on income and family size, regardless of insurance status. This may reduce the amount you pay for eligible services.
This program can help, even if you are under-insured. To get started, apply online or call your clinic and ask for an appointment with a financial access navigator.
We accept Medicaid/BadgerCare. If you are unsure what benefits you or your family qualifies for, we help you explore your options, enroll in coverage, or set up a payment plan that works for you. Clinics in Ashland, Hurley, and Marinette accept Medicaid/Healthy Michigan.

NorthLakes accepts most commercial and Marketplace insurance from the Health Insurance Marketplace/ACA exchange. If you need insurance, we have trained counselors can help you understand your options and complete enrollment. Call your clinic and ask for an appointment with a certified application counselor.
NorthLakes accepts Medicare. If you are 65 or older and have questions about your coverage, costs, or what services are covered, our team can help you understand your options.
WisCovered.com (800) 242-1060 also offers free assistance with Medicare.
If you don’t have insurance or choose not to use insurance for your care, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges for scheduled services.
