Community Health Quality Recognition badges recognize Health Center Program organizations that demonstrate measurable improvements in areas such as access, clinical quality, health outcomes and health information technology.

NorthLakes maintains Wisconsin Division of Quality Assurance certification for outpatient mental health and substance use disorder services.

The Division of Quality Assurance oversees the safety and quality of healthcare providers and services in Wisconsin.

NorthLakes laboratory testing is certified through the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services under the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA). CLIA standards help ensure laboratory testing is accurate, reliable, and performed according to federal quality requirements.

NorthLakes Community Clinic was recognized through the 2022 Target: BP program for its commitment to improving blood pressure control.

Gold+ Recognition
Our Hayward, Lakewood and White Lake clinics earned Gold+ recognition for demonstrating accurate blood pressure measurement and achieving blood pressure control for at least 70% of adult patients with high blood pressure.

Silver Recognition
Our Ashland, Hurley, Iron River and Minong clinics earned Silver recognition for demonstrating a commitment to improving blood pressure control through accurate measurement.

Nearly 1,300 organizations were recognized through the program for their efforts to help patients better manage high blood pressure.

This health center is a Health Center Program grantee under 42 U.S.C. 254b, and a deemed Public Health Service employee under 42 U.S.C. 233(g)-(n)

This health center receives HHS funding and has Federal Public Health Service deemed status with respect to certain health or health-related claims, including medical malpractice claims, for itself and its covered individuals. This health center and many/all of its providers are deemed federal employees, with resultant coverage under the Federal Tort Claims Act (FTCA) for actions within the scope of deemed employment, pursuant to 42 U.S.C. 233(g)-(n). Accordingly, claims or notice of medical malpractice claims should be submitted by a claimant to the Office of General Counsel.

This health center receives HHS funding and has Federal Public Service (PHS) deemed status with respect to certain health or health-related claims, including medical malpractice claims, for itself and covered individuals. Services are offered on a sliding-fee scale basis for qualifying patients.
