The Senior Resource Center serves older adults throughout Sawyer County by providing home-delivered and congregate meals, healthy aging programs, wellness activities, and opportunities for social connection. Available regardless of income, these services help seniors maintain their health, independence, and quality of life.
With the funds awarded through 100 Who Care, the Senior Resource Center will support the Meals on Wheels Delivery Bag and Refrigerator Replacement Project, helping ensure the continued delivery of safe, nutritious meals to seniors across the county.
The 100 Who Care program reflects NorthLakes’ vision of creating healthy, prosperous and engaged communities where everyone thrives. While NorthLakes may not have the capacity to directly provide all the services offered by local nonprofit organizations, we recognize that the health and well-being of our patients and communities are strengthened by their work. By bringing community members together to support local nonprofits, 100 Who Care helps ensure that organizations like the Senior Resource Center have the resources needed to make a lasting impact across Sawyer County.
Since its inception, 100 Who Care Sawyer County has demonstrated the power of collective giving. By combining individual contributions, members have made meaningful investments in organizations that strengthen and support local communities. To date, 100 Who Care Sawyer County has donated more than $133,000 to nonprofits selected by its members, creating a lasting impact throughout the region.
